It’s been a blessing getting to explore the R&B genre every other Wednesday at @sost.dc.

Today will be especially different because we lost one of music’s biggest pioneers, and it would be a disservice to not dedicate tonight’s set to, the musical giant, D’Angelo. I will be covering his full catalog while also mixing in music from some of his closest musical peers from the iconic collective, the Soulquarians.

Voodoo is an album I’ve revisited almost every year since it came out and “Send It On” will forever have a special place in my heart. I truly consider myself lucky to have been alive and experienced D’Angelo’s music in real time. Rest in peace
